Joint Distance Studies Academy
in Partnership with University of Lagos Consultancy Services & University of Ibadan Consultancy Services Unit

Joint Distance Studies Academy is a major player in the field of Executive Education, Management Education and Specialist Professional Training with good track record in uplifting and sharpening the management skills of companies, individuals, institutions and organizations in Nigeria and the World in general.

The Academy which became fully established on the 27th of October 2011 after due registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (RC Number 52264) was approved and accredited by Osun State Ministry of Education, Department of Higher Education on the 7th of July 2022. The Academy's core business objective is Management Consultancy and Coordination of Universities and Professional bodies Programmes on a Distance Learning arrangement.

Since its inception, it has been consistent with this core objective and thereby giving our students numerous benefits via our strategic collaborations with Universities programme such as University of Ibadan Consultancy Services Unit programme whose Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on the 22nd of February 2018. The Academy also entered same strategic collaboration with University of Lagos Consultancy Services on the 7th of July 2022. See pictures below:

The Academy, since its establishment have been consulting for several Professional bodies including; Chartered Institute of Warehousing and Materials Management, Chartered Institute of Health, Safety and Environmental Management and Chartered Institute of Contract, Project and Facility Management, just to mention a few.

The Academy has also entered into a strategic collaboration with Ecole Superieure Sainte Felicite University, Akpakpa, Cotonou, Republic of Benin on the 22nd of January 2018 and later with Centre International Universitaire Des Meilleurs (C.I.U.M) Bestower International University on the 9th of September 2021.

So far, our strategic collaborative arrangements with these first-generation Universities in Nigeria have been yielding tremendous positive results. Significant among these positive results are our graduates earning Professional Ordinary Diploma, Higher Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma certificates converted to B.Sc. Degree of our other partnering Universities in Republic of Benin, which have been enabling Graduates from the programmes to participate in National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
